Solsius SelfCare is a Class I medical device according to Regulation (EU) 2017/745, intended for diabetic patients.

  • The connected insoles, equipped with 16 temperature sensors, collect plantar temperature data every 10 minutes.
  • The collected data is transmitted to the Solsius SelfCare mobile app via Bluetooth, with automatic synchronization every 6 hours between the insoles and the app.
  • The Solsius SelfCare mobile app notifies the patient in case of abnormal plantar temperature variations.
  • With a thickness of less than 5 mm, the Solsius SelfCare insoles fit perfectly into a foot orthosis or orthopedic shoe (CHUT/CHUP), depending on the patient’s needs.

The Solsius SelfCare self-monitoring system is indicated for patients with grade 2 or 3 podiatric diabetes, managed by city podiatrists or hospital centers, to detect abnormal plantar temperature variations that may indicate the onset of diabetic foot ulcers, a common complication in diabetic patients.

    • History of major lower limb amputation
